Kalis Americano Bowie Trainer

       Bryan Cannata is a life long martial artist that specializes in edged weapons from multiple cultures. Kalis Americano is system based around the commonalities between Filipino, European, and American Martial arts. This trainer replicates a Bowie style knife that is designed with those commonalities in mind.   You can find him as @southernkalis on Instagram .
        Handcrafted from 3/4” thick HDPE polymer.    The hand ground blade is 12”.    19” overall length. A heavy duty trainer ready for action.    Weighs 12oz. 

           The handle is wrapped with layer of flame treated jute or synthetic leather . It is then covered with a Tsukamaki style wrap and is saturated with marine grade resin to create a grippy and permanent handle wrap.

     Base layer options A:   jute base layer color options include: red , blue , black , green ,purple , orange  and natural.      

     Base layer options B: New leather Samegawa base layer option: Samegawa base layer is a waterproof synthetic leather  .    Color options are black, green, natural and oxblood.  

     Base layer option C: synthetic alligator samegawa. Color options are Green , oxblood , natural and black.
     Base layer option D : synthetic rattlesnake . Color options natural , green.
