Hawk Elite Trainer (Winkler Compact Style)

     Handcrafted from 3/4” thick HDPE polymer.  Made to match Dan Winkler’s Compact size Hawk.   Dan Winkler is a legendary smith known worldwide for both his historical hawks and knives and his modern tactical tools.  You can find his products at winklerknives.com.  

     This trainer is handcrafted to give a proper training tool for safer training with a partner.    Points and edges are rounded.    The Hybrid wrapped handle is wrapped with layer of flame treated jute . It is then covered with a Tsukamaki style wrap and is saturated with marine grade resin to create a grippy and permanent handle wrap.    Blade and pommel feature my hand textured wood grain finish. Overall length of 10 7/8 ”. Weighs 8.3 oz   

 Handle base layer color options include: red , blue , black , green ,  and natural.       

Over wrap layer color options include : Blue , red , black , purple ,  teal, orange , desert tan ,maroon , dark Brown, olive green , Kelly Green or neon green .
