Elite Hawk/Knife Trainer Combo (Winkler Compact Style)

       Elite Hawk Trainer (Winkler Compact Style):  Made to match Dan Winkler’s Full size Hawk.   Dan Winkler is a legendary smith known worldwide for both his historical hawks and knives and his modern tactical tools.  You can find his products at winklerknives.com.   

        This Hawk trainer is handcrafted from 3/4” thick HDPE polymer to create  a proper training tool for safer training with a partner.    Points and edges are rounded.   The Hybrid wrapped handle is wrapped with layer of flame treated jute . It is then covered with a Tsukamaki style wrap and is saturated with marine grade resin to create a grippy and permanent handle wrap.    Blade and pommel feature our hand textured wood grain finish. Overall length of 10 7/8”. Weighs 8.3 oz
