Knife Trainer (Winkler Belt style) Tsukamaki Wrap

Handcrafted from 1/2” thick HDPE polymer.  Made to match Dan Winkler’s Belt Knife.   Dan Winkler is a legendary smith known worldwide for both his historical hawks and knives and his modern tactical tools.  You can find his products at winklerknives.com. (Vulpes Training is not affiliated with Winkler Knives )  

      This trainer is handcrafted to give a proper training tool for safer training with a partner.    Points and edges are rounded.   Blade and pommel feature our hand textured wood grain finish. Overall length of 9” with a 4.5” blade .  Weighs 4 oz   The handle is wrapped with layer of flame treated jute . It is then covered with a Tsukamaki style wrap and is saturated with marine grade resin to create a grippy and permanent handle wrap.  

     Handle base layer color options include: red , blue , black , green ,olive green ,purple , orange  and natural.        

     Over wrap layer color options include : Blue , red , black , purple ,  maroon ,Olive Green., Kelly Green. Please use chat feature to request colors.    Default colors are natural/black.
