The Traveler Patu

   The Traveler Patu is a modern twist on the traditional Patu.   A handy 15” size keeps it where it’s needed.  The hooked pommel and marine grade resin infused jute wrapped handle keeps it secure in your hand.   Hand ground from 3/4” thick HDPE polymer with a hand textured wood grain finish.  A trusty companion when walking amongst the untrustworthy.

      The handle is wrapped with layer of black flame treated jute . It is then covered with a Tsukamaki style  wrap and is saturated with marine grade resin to create a grippy and permanent handle wrap.

     Base layer options A:   jute base layer color options include: red , blue , black , green ,purple , orange  and natural.      

     Base layer options B: New leather Samegawa base layer option: Samegawa base layer is a waterproof synthetic leather  .    Color options are black, green, natural and oxblood.  

     Base layer option C: synthetic alligator samegawa. Color options are Green , oxblood , natural and black.
     Base layer option D : synthetic rattlesnake . Color options natural , green.

      Base Layer E: carbon fiber in silver , black , blue, pink, gold, green camo

Over wrap layer color options include : Blue , red , black , purple ,  teal, orange , desert tan ,maroon , dark Brown, olive green , Kelly Green or neon green . Please use chat feature to request colors.    Default colors are black jute/ black Tsukamaki.
