Bodney Fighter Knife Trainer

 The Bodney Series of knife trainers are named for the Bodney Airfield in WW2 England where my grandfather served as a medic in the 352nd Fighter Group United States Air Corp. The airfield was built on my grandmother’s family farm. They met under the shadow of the Blitzkrieg. Following the war they married and raised a family in the USA.  
      The Bodney Fighter is a modern approach to a combat knife. Built to serve as primarily a utility tool and yet also as an effective combat tool.  The 6” hand ground blade is matched with a flame treated jute wrapped handle.  The jute is infused with marine grade resin to create a grippy and permanent , phenolic handle wrap.   The handle is designed to allow for a thrusting grip . Blade and pommel feature our hand textured Dragon Hide finish.   Overall length is 11”.   Weighs 5.3oz. Handcrafted from 3/4” thick HDPE polymer.
